During the spring protests by the Colorful Revolution, pro-government media called upon authorities to investigate CSOs’ finances, prompting visits by the Financial Police to several CSOs. For example, the Financial Police visited Citizen’s Association MOST on the day it held a press conference on its assessment of government institutions’ readiness to organize free and fair elections; no charges had been filed against the organization by the end of the year.
