The research in various countries of the world has revealed the importance of understanding migration within the family dynamics and as a community strategy. From this point of view, the issue of gender and remittances is a perspective area of study, which is still under-researched. This explains the goal of this paper which is to identify the gendered impact of remittances on social sustainability impact indicators (TSIA Handbook, 2008). These include: poverty, health, education, labour issues and gender equality in Ukrainian family.
