“The OSCE promotes the rights of Romani and Sinti through projects on political participation, education, housing, civil registration, combating racism and discrimination, and protecting the rights of displaced persons.”It is mainly the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) which deals with various Romani issues. Key ODIHR activities in relation to Romani include reviewing the implementation of OSCE’s Action Plan on Improving the Situation of Romani and Sinti within the OSCE Area and providing advice and assistance to governmental and non-governmental institutions.
