The focus of this research topic is the evaluation of the structures, human resources, existing standards and overall Ministry of Foreign AffairsÂ’ efficiency in the realisation of its assigned duties and responsibilities. The motives which generated this research arise from the evident halt Bosnia and Herzegovina is experiencing on the road towards Euro-Atlantic integration. Obviously, this halt can not be viewed solely from the perspective of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs functioning, but it does support the overall internal political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nonetheless, Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsibility relates to the representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in political circles abroad. This entails direct communication with the diplomatic consular missions of other states and international organisations that have the decision-making power over the future development of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards Euro-Atlantic integration. Taking this into account, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does play a significant role in this process.
